Activities
Tomiko Lake is a good sized lake of 4500 acres with an average depth of 26 feet where fishing is great for Pickerel/Walleye, Bass and Perch. Our rental fleet can accommodate various sizes of groups or you can bring your own boat to explore the beauty of this peaceful lake and it’s two adjoining lakes. The north shore of Tomiko Lake is almost unoccupied crown land ensuring minimal boat traffic.
Our natural sandy beach provides a safe place to swim and is ideal for creative activities like building sand castles. Collecting wood for the camp fire is another favorite past time for many families that prefer to explore the bush to buying their fire wood at our camp store.
The area is particularly beautiful in the fall and the surrounding bush is criss-crossed with many old logging roads that provide access to some fine grouse hunting and a myriad of trails that invite you to discover the wilderness by ATV, mountain bike or on foot. Wildlife and bird viewing is possible from existing tree stands.
Other activities like golfing, shopping or a visit to the sports complex or museum are all available in the West Nipissing area.
